Acero (アセロ, Acero^?) is one of the main mascots of PikaPika Tropica Pretty Cure! He began living with Aikawa Sumomo after falling from Elysium when it was destroyed by Havoc Dystopia. Acero ends most of his sentences in "~chuu."

Bio

Appearance

Acero is a small, rodent-like fairy that resembles a Coati. He has peach-coloured fur, gold eyes, small ears with dark pink insides, and a long tail with a fluffy white tip. On his body are several markings; a dark pink heart shape that extends over his eyelids, two blush marks in the same colour, a white snout, and a white belly. Around his neck is a large red bow bearing the symbol of Elysium as a brooch in the centre.

Etymology

Acero (アセロ, Acero^?) - Like Acai, Acero is named after a type of fruit. His name comes from Acerola-- another common name for the Barbados Cherry.

History

Acero and Acai were both in training to become fully fledged knights of Belhalla. Before Elysium fell to ruin, Acero was undergoing duties of a page as part of his training, and by being in the wrong place at the right time was the one that Belhalla, in her final minutes of freedom, asked to bring the Shiny Bells to earth and find the Pretty Cure.

Relationships

Aikawa Sumomo

Acai - Acai and Acero have likely been friends since they were young, and treat eachother like you'd expect siblings to with all of the constant back-and-forth teasing.

Garland - Acero harbours great respect for Elysium's most skilled knight, and can't help but act starstruck when around him. Garland is flattered by Acero's reverence, but can't help but feel a bit off-put by his unnatural behaviour.

Abilities

Acero can assume human form like most other fairies who hail from Elysium.
